Well Scott and I was out and we grabbed a quick bite to eat and there was a new frozen yogurt place that opened up not too long ago call Cherry on top. The decor is something you would see on TV at a swanky place. It is white with very modern decor white chairs and everything looks industrial chic.
It is a self serve place where they weigh your yogurt choices with a plethora of toppings. The yogurt flavors du jour were peach, mango, cookies and cream, chocolate, cheesecake, blueberry tart, plain tart, coconut, and kiwi strawberry.
Toppings ranged from granola, fruit, candy pieces and sauces. The arrangement looked very clean and very appetizing. The only disappointment were the size choices in cups to get your yogurt….there were only two and it was big and very big.
I was a bit full from dinner so I only got a little taste of the cookies and cream, cheesecake, and blueberry tart. Scott got cheesecake, cookies and cream and chocolate and topped it off with butterfinger pieces.
The yogurt in general was very good but I found that blueberry and chocolate was excellent. The blueberry was a little tart but it was very pleasant with a clean finish of blueberry. The chocolate was smooth and not too sweet but a nice taste of chocolate.
I am looking forward to going again to taste some of the other flavors. Cherry on top was a fine finish to the night. Great yogurt but I wish they had smaller cups.
